Z-bar (torque tube) bushings - 05/07/18 04:46 AM
Would like to buy some z-bar bushings locally (instead of ebay).
Does anyone know the part number on these?

I've never found them for sale individually or even in pairs. They come in a kit. Summit sells them. Do a search.

FWIW; I found that synthetic disc brake grease is the absolute best lubricant to use on these and any other contact point in the linkage. I use it for most anything that moves, slides rotates or glides too. It won't attack the plastic, rubber, has excellent anti-wear properties and is extremely washout resistant.

I would try and find some NOS ones. I went through 2 sets of the new ones, kept breaking at the parting line in the center. I found some NOS ones from the early 2000's and they have been fine. Both sets I had in prior would split when I would speed shift the car.

No speed shifting on the dually lol.
I'll make a print on the next ones and make them myself in the future. Would love to make them out of UHMW. Don't have to worry about them eating the ball stud up and they should last forever...longer than nylon or delrin.
