I have found that on the latest alternator replacement recalls for the V-6 cars and SUV's that a 1/2" distributor wrench really comes in handy to loosen the B+ nut. There usually isn't enough room to swing a 13mm wrench around next to the frame rail without some major contortionist moves.

Appreciated! Any tidbit that makes this hobby easier is always welcomed.

My grandfather would say:

“Every job is easy if you have the right tools”

Then he would pause, and continue:

“And if you are finding a job hard, it means you need to invent some new tools”

Steven Covey sold a lot of “Habits” books, and one habit to get into was:

“Take time to sharpen the saw”
