340 oil pressure sending unit,

Did the wire that goes to the oil sending unit (Rallye Dash) have one of these plastic plugs on it? Or did it just have the metal contact piece? Thank you.

On my 70 Roadrunner, there was no plastic piece....but my car was a wreck when I got it, so it may have been broken sometime before I owned it

I have two cars both just metal no plastic

No plastic on mine either, don't think it would connect with the plastic, even with that portion notched out.

all gage style oil pressure senders [like the one shown] i have seen up to the 80's when that style was discontinued, have had bare connectors.
