Got a battery topped!

After getting tired of buying restoration batteries I decided to give this a try. I am using a Sears DiHard, and although not as accurate as the full restoration batteries, this thing is pretty cool.

I was just thinking of my topper on the battery on my convertible while replying to a post on repro batteries a few minutes ago. We had to modify the hold down a bit to work as the topper is a bit wider than an original battery, but otherwise looks real good!

This place lists a Red topper. Is this for a group 27 batt?

I put a red cap topper on my vert, it works with a group 24 battery. I bought it from Year One.

Got it. Group 24 size only which is listed in their FAQ's.
