All the Indy intakes I've seen are max wedge intake port sizes, so no way would I bolt a M.W. intake on a set of stock 440 intake port size heads down twocents
What happens is the flow from the intake hits the smaller edges of the heads and causes reversion, which can cause backfires and a very lazy motor down
I've seen the other way cause problems also, 440 intake on a M.W. headed motors, no good twocents

I think their dual plan will work with those heads. The Indy single plan intakes are for max wedge port heads. This is the one i'm talking about:

The dual plane comes with standard ports - well actually they have a hump in them to make them standard port since they really designed it to be a MW intake.

My 400-2 Indy single plane intake did NOT come as a Max wedge you have to pay extra for that. you can see the scribe marks to make it M/W . Yes it will bolt on 440 source heads.

Larry Shepherd said the W5 square port intake on a W2 oval port head was just fine. I've had a 360 intake on 318 heads before as well. I'm not sure that the port mismatch is as big of a deal as many think it is.

I know a chevy guy that would run a square port intake on oval port head. Heavy 69 Chevelle with 468 c.i. BBC. It would run 6-teens 1/8th mile. Had silicone goobered, externally, in the corners to stop vacuum leaks. tricky ricky for those from st. louis area. I always worry about reversion and go to great lengths to get intake to fit properly, but this is one instance that goes against logic.

The 318 head port size is a little smaller than the stock 340-360 OEM heads, not near as different in size as the M.W. are compared to the stock 440 port sizes shruggy You have to weld the 440 intake up to prevent seeing into the M.W. heads work
OP, buy a Eddy RPM or some other 440 intake to start with up twocents
