New to the C-Body scene - 02/20/18 11:03 PM

Hello everyone,

We got our first C-Body in for restoration, a 1972 Plymouth Fury Gran Coupe. Is there anyplace out there that specializes in seat upholstery, visors, etc? Not having much luck. Also, Need a right side quarter skin.

Thanks!!

Jim,You are in Newark and Legendary interiors is right there.
They are capable to replicating the material but not sure if they actually do the re-upholstering.

C body sheetmetal is not in repop and the stuff that is-is not really good quality.
You are best off fabricating your own quarter or score a southern rust free skin. sawzall weld bondo
Welcome to the C body world where we build them out of scratch and for love!! fury

And Murray Park

I'd love to see the Gran Coupe finished, granddad had a nice one.

Compared to most other Mopars, C-bodies are usually pretty cheap fun!

Definitely check with Murray Park for any parts you may need, as nobody repops much for these cars.

I don't currently have one, but I learned to drive in my Dad's '73 Gran Coupe back in 1979, so I've always had a soft spot for those.

Some of the BIG ones I've had over the years...

I really miss the '69 300, it ended up in Finland.

Nope. I've owned three Fury Gran Coupes. It was a name they gave to the upscale two-doors.

The Gran Fury models came later in the 70s. Here's a Gran Fury wagon...
