looks similar to ones i have seen attached to spare tire brackets welded to the trunk floor. there are several different lengths, so i can't be more specific. or it may not be a mopar part at all. shruggy

I actually have a pair of them, so I wondering if they were used in pairs. Also notice the cotter pin that is located at the bolt head end and what purpose would that severe?

cotter pin keeps it from falling out of the square hole---i would vote for the tire hold-down....

Usually they have more threads than 2".
I'm going with the spare hold down crowd.

True on the 2". I can't get the quick pin on the other side for the trunk??? Aren't those usually just a "J" bolt?

as i said, it may not even be a mopar part at all. shruggy the parking brake adjuster usually have twice the threads as the bolt shown, and most are 5/16 thread. what thread size is the bolt pictured ?

You might be right at that. I have had the pair for sometime and I have know idea where I got them from. There a chance that it might not even a automotive part... The threads are 5/16"
