I have 25560R15 rear tires on my duster.Gear ratio is 355.If I switch to a 23560r15 wil I lower or raise the actual ratio

2556015 is 27 inches tall.
2356015 is 26.1 inches tall
You will be lowering your final drive.
Your final drive of 3.55 will make it feel like a guestimate of 3.68 or more.
Quicker off the line,but highway RPM's will increase slightly by 50-100RPM's.

Going from a 255 to a 235 is shorter, but it is also less tire on the road for traction. You may not get off the line quicker just because you may loose traction.
You may be better off with a stickier 255.

I doubt it is a significant enough difference to be felt and may only be measurable by a stop watch.
