What backspace and width are you running on your Darts without modifications? What size tires? Front and rear. I'm looking at a '69 Dart, and I will need to get some decent rollers on it as soon as I pick it up. Thanks.

Just something to roll the car around on?

If it's small bolt pattern still pretty much any 14" factory steel wheel should go on no problem as long as the tires aren't super tall or wide.

If the car has been converted to large bolt pattern and your looking at nice wheels to keep on the car a 15x7 with 4-1/4" 4-1/2" of backspace and a 235-60/15 in the rear is a safe fit that shouldn't require rolling the fender lips or anything of that nature.

No, I'm going to leave these on it. It still has all the small bolt stuff on it. Needs some correcting, but it's all there.

Rear with stock orignal springs or lower ride height

  • with small bolt pattern or redrilled sbp axles/brakes:
    • 15x7 with 4 1/4 backspace and 245/60/15
  • with large bolt aftermarket axles
    • 15x7 with 4 1/2 backspace and 245/60/15

Front with large bolt pattern factory parts brake conversion:
  • 15x7 with 4 1/4 backspace with 215/60/15 tires. 225/60/15 will be close but can very due
to alignment specs. Area to watch interference is lower front fender lip. Adjusting lower
stabilizer bars outward will help or cutting/rolling lip.
  • 15x7 with 4 1/4 backspace. If you cut, roll lower fender edge 1". Or install 1" to 1 1/2"
longer lower stabilizer bar. You can fit 245/60/15 up front

Here are pics my 68 Dart conv with factroy never replaced quarter panels. With small bolt pattern axles and rims with 15x7 rims and 245/60/15 tires.

That's pretty tight. Was hoping for a taller tire, but I'll do what I can.
