6bblgt what does the number 3 at the end of the 603080-3 mean compared to an axle that would have 603080-5. What would be the differences in -3 and -5, maybe an assembly line or something else. Both would be 410 gear ratio but what else is different or what is the difference between -3 and -5.

That is a nice chart. I've never seen it before, where did it come from?

I've seen it before, but I just search internet images for "DANA 60 BOM" the source points back to Moparts

just found this one & it sheds light on the dash # - source points to a JK forum

603080 bill of material would mean either 345 or 410 or 456 identifying number for a 69 to 71 E Body Rear End. I take the 69 would mean the beginning of the model build starting around July of 1969 to have rear end ready for the 1970 E Bodies. The number after the Bill of Material number 1 2 4 is for a 354 why use three different numbers on an E Body rear end for what is stated in the above post. Why use 3 5 for a 410 and 6 7 for a 456. It states the number is a Ratio, Differential and End Yoke Options, what does that mean. Are there differences in the yokes for 354 and 2 for 410 and 2 for 456?
