67 B-body windshield wiper question - 01/11/18 05:16 AM

Is this wiper blade holder the type that would have been installed at the factory on a 67 B-body or is it more likely an aftermarket replacement? Of all the Mopars I have ever owned, I never had one that had the wiper blade holders with the part that I have highlighted in the ellipse. But, that being said, this is the first Mopar I have had older than a 68 model. I need to get a replacement as this one is actually broken at the hinge but I just want to be sure this is the type my car should have.

Yes they would have been factory installed up to late 1967 all cars depending on supply/demand and assembly plant location.

New Federal Laws in 1968 required wiper blades and arms to be "anti-glare" and tha Air-foil blades like you are showing were not factory installed.
Yet they could be bought as an aftermarket replacement at any gas station,etc..
Nigel and his team at National Moparts has a HUGE selction of NORS replacement wiper blades and refills including yours so give them a call!! (I know 'cause I saw them and bought some)

Hope this helps

No, you have an airfoil pictured. 1967 B-bodies didn't come with airfoil. Yes all the exposed wiper arm and blade parts are the matte silver anti glare finish.

O.K. So if the air foil blades are not correct for my car, am I to assume then that the correct looking blade would be a typical matte finish blade of that era or would a 67 have a particular type or part number blade?
