A friend of mine bought a 69 Charger in parts. He is now trying to put it together and called to ask if I knew where these went.

What they are, I'm not exactly sure but they bolt up to the very rear of each rear frame rail. I think they might be a type of tow hook for a tow truck, but again, I'm not sure. Rob

They attach at the very rear to the frame rail.

I think they were used for shipping the car...I don't think you need to put them back on.

heres where they go and they where some form of tie down when they where shipped

I think they are more of a re-inforcement plate. I cant see how any shipping chains or hooks could be attached to them.

They are the mounting brackets for both the exhaust tip hangers and the bumper guard mounts-definately put them back on!

I would have to look at my car but I think the rear bumper guard attaches to it at the bottom.
