Looks like Dad's van is gonna need a transmission...
What all year A-518/46RH can be directly installed into a 93 1 ton small block van?
I'm looking for info in hopes of finding either a parts truck with a good trans, or just an outright good used trans to swap in. I just don't know what if any year-to-year issues I need to aviod.
Dad's retired, and this is his work van (he still works a few hours a week), so he can't see spending $1800 to rebuild the trans...
