codes on engine and transmission

looking for some info on engine and transmission ID areas
gray pad is transmission. other is engine.

Little hard to read what you have there. The engine has a casting number, casting date, displacement and assembly date stamps as well as the VIN stamp. Use all of them to tell you what you have. The transmission has a part number, date stamp and sometimes a VIN. Once again, use all of the numbers to zero in on what you have.

The 0E trans if from a 1970 model year car built at LA, could be from a B or E-body.

The 0D block is also from a 1970 model, but from a C-body.
