DOES ANYONE KNOW WHAT MOTOR OIL HAS ZINC IN IT. I BELIEVE VALOLINE MIGHT BUT DON'T KNOW FOR SURE

You have to look at the API service rating. If the oil has an SM or CJ-4 rating the zinc content has been reduced to approx 800 ppm. If doesn't matter the brand the API rating mandates the level of zinc allowed and it's monitored by the government.

Actually there are several CJ-4 oils with more than that. The last time I looked into it (and changed my oil, couple months ago) I used Delo 400 which has about 1300 PPM. Rotella has about 1200 PPM. Both are the new formulation CJ-4 and are available anywhere including Walmart in a 1 gallon jug.
I also used 1 quart "stp oil stabilizer" which when mixed with 4 quarts of Delo, brought the zinc PPM up about 80 PPM for the whole 5 quarts, if I remember right.
