who rebuilds power window motors?

who rebuilds power window motors? - 12/12/17 12:48 AM

I am doing a 55 ford crown vic for a customer. You think I could locate any ford or antique message boards to ask questions on this that gets the timely responses like moparts does. Not at all. Anyway I need the seats and the window motors either new or find someone that might rebuild them. Not having any luck at all. So anyone know any company that might rebuild chrysler motors that maybe I can check with to see if they might do ford ones too.

Thanks

There's Hydr0-E-Lectric, but someone said they stop doing electric PW motors?, but I'd confirm that before writing them off, then there's JS Restorations, Mopar is his forte, but "nothing ventured, nothing gained"?

Might want to try Macsautoparts.com they specialize in Ford products from 1907 to 1970, they manufacturer a lot of their own parts as well as offer rebuild services for a lot of components

car will be switched over to 12 volt. dayclona is correct on motor. we did talk to www.nu-relics.com and might be using their power window set up. they have one that we can use his original switches but it comes with new regulators and motors and relays and wires. $1005.00 for the four windows. $250.00 per window. I will still check other places out. Macs antique auto parts, concours auto parts, larrys t birds all say the new ones are not currently produced. Still will be needing his power seat motors done so fingers crossed will locate something.

thanks guys!

Nu-relics is an option, I'm sure they be some mods to get them in and working?, have you tried Larrys for the seat motor?, T bird but maybe compatible?
