Engine assembly date vs. vehicle scheduled production date - 12/04/17 06:44 PM

Just out of curiosity I'd like to ask, on cars that still have their original engines in them, what is the longest time span you have seen between the engine's assembly date and the cars scheduled production date?

Six months, that's interesting. I read in a previous thread here that there couldn't be a difference of that many months.

My T/A had a scheduled production date of April 17, but the final assembly date on the original engine was April, 22.

So for some reason, this car was built later than 'hoped for'.

The oldest date codes on it were some of the glass, June of 1969.

For anyone into dates on original or near original cars, a spread sheet to track the dates you find is a fun study.
