4/20/77 Motor Wheel Corp. wheel with Goodyear F78-14 (or is that E78?) space-saver spare tire

probably from a 1977 Aspen or Volare

2944250 part number is quite low for a '77 part.

Part number is correct for 1970-71 E-body.

except that wheel in 1970 was not stamped with the part number & was reused when Motor Wheel Corp., which was owned by Goodyear in the mid-'70s issued their Space-Saver for use in F-bodies

'70-'71 space-savers have Kelsey-Hayes wheels & BFG tires

Agree with Dan....Aspen/Volare.
Rim is mistakenly attributed to E-body in GG's white book.
Tire will be a Goodyear radial style tread...no radials in 70-71 E

Good to know. My white books are full of notes about errors, time to add another.

Thanks guys!

So does the rim have any value, worth keeping?
The tire is definitely not any good.

I guess I'm asking if there's anything special about rim without the tire?

It's a polyester 2-ply tire, actually in better shape than I thought

I used to sell them in new condition for around $150.00.
Great for someone who just wants something collapsible style to fit in the trunk of an E-body
