Leak Detection pump for 1999 RAM 5.2L

I have transplanted a 5.2l from a 1999 Ram into a 1940 Chrysler, along with the engine harness and PCM.Will I need to hook up the Leak detection pump? I don't have the pump anymore and hoping to be able to bypass that and not affect the engine.

It will not affect how the engine runs,it's just for emissions.
