MOPAR SALVAGE YARDS - 10/18/17 03:20 PM

Hello,
Could you help me out. I am looking for a salvage yard that has
an 'E' body convertible for parts (if any are left on it).
Thanks, Kurt

I can answer one out of 50. There’s none in Maine!!!
What do you need. If structural Ken Hopperdeziel can probably help.
It took me two years to get a very wrecked rag Cuda out of a yard in New York!

^^^ that's what I would do, is go to every Mopar site I could find (Google) & post an ad in every one of em for what you are after. EDIT & local CL in closeby areas. something that rare you need to cast a wide net.

As already mentioned, your best bet is to simply post in the parts wanted section here. I am sure their are a few members who are parting E body convertibles
that are too rusty to build , or have left overs from previous projects .
The chance of finding a junk yard with an E body convertible would be about zero I would imagine , although if anybody had one in a yard, it would probably be Stephens Performance since he is the biggest Mopar salvage operation on Earth.

If on Facebook, I have seen folks post pictures where there's been scads of E bodied cars setting around. Can't recall where or what page it was, I'd have to imagine there was at least one in the bunch.

Try Tony's Parts he's a sponsor here. Won't be cheap but he might have whatever your looking for. At the very least maybe he can give you directions?

I know of a yard in AZ with a 71 Barracuda vert. Total project, has rust, won't part out and wants a butt load of money for it.

Good luck with finding a Cuda convertible in a yard...........if you need sheet metal parts you will have to do what everyone else has done and purchase a Cuda convertible that's rusty and then restore the parts on it that you need - or just restore the parts from your car. When you're done you can sell what's left that others need.............now you know why the specific to convertible sheet metal parts are so expensive. Buying $6,000 parts cars is really painful, but not as painful as removing a rain gutter or a wheel tub and not wrecking anything - then fixing it - and then the guy that wants to purchase it wants to spend $50 on it...........see where I'm going?
