Original carpet 1971 Duster 340

while cleaning the sill plate on my 1971 Duster 340 I noticed that the original carpet in my car had date tags on it. I also noticed that the rear carpet is dated approx. 5 weeks newer than the front carpet. Any thoughts on this?

is your car bench or buckets? what's it's SPD?

either way, the stack of rear carpet (any transmission) was used at a faster rate than front 4-speed carpet
