cam question

accualy have 2 questions is there way to meassurelift and duration with out cam in the block . i just pulled a cam out of a 70 440 looks new or very few miles the cam is stamped norris 295 dmh anyone have a clue to how good this cams is .also have a comp cam stamped 260h same boat not sure what it is . comps web page kinda made it sound likemild rv cam but didnt give any specs any help would be appreciated thanks. trying to go the cheap route here just stock 440 with 915 heads and afb 750 cfm carb maybe headers though posibly just manifolds

A comp 260 cam is pretty small IIRC.

No info on the Norris cam, but you could measure the lift by measuring the cam 90 degrees to the lobe then measure the lobe & subtract a from b...
