Hood clearance with a victor intake - 09/28/17 03:54 PM

Has anyone used a victor on a B motor and closed the hood on their Abody? We are considering this for our 68 Dart. Thanks Andrew

On a b body you are tight to squeeze it in even with a drop base air cleaner. An a-body will be tough.

This A body hood is closed.

Thanks, I am going for it. Someone must have done it with out a hood scoop. It is only 1" higher than an rpm. I am hoping a drop base and filter lid will work in my favor. Andrew

Didn't work on my 73 Dart Sport 400. I had to massage the hood as I have a factory scoop with the dual inlets.
