67 Charger Auto shifter

My shifter is stuck in park, button won't release. I would like to find a video on repairing it, no luck so far. Thankfully this happened while it was parked in my garage. Any help would be appreciated.

I don't know if you'll find a video for it. I would remove the shifter and take a look at the mechanisim for obvious wear. Could be in need of a linkage adjustment if the lever on the trans is hitting the park before your shifter is quite all the way in park the button won't pop back up?

Button won't push down? Undo the set screw and remove the knob by unscrewing it (the button is threaded onto the cable inside the handle). Then remove the console and take a look. Nothing difficult about these shifters.
