Duster info needed

Was the Sharktooth Grill used in 1971 or 1972 ?
Which Duster Hood scoops were available in 1971 and 1972? Thanks

I think the 340 specific grille first appeared in 71.

I want to say the only scoops that came on Dusters in those years was the twin scoops on the Twister models. 340 cars were bare except for the black hood paint option.

Twisters also got the sharkstooth grille standard .

71 340 Dusters and Duster Twisters got the Shark tooth grilles, Twisters had optional hood scoops, 340 cars did not. In 1972 340 Dusters had the Shark Tooth grille, Twisters did not, and again,no Duster 340s got hood scoops.

I always thought that was kinda dumb that the 318 two barrel carb Duster Twister got the twin scoops but the performance model the 340 Duster never did . Ron

I agree. Those cars wear the twin scoops well. I know Dusters were supposed to be super affordable so not having the scoops saves money, but they should have made them an extra cost option at least.
