Classic Air Heater Control Valve

While mocking up the Classic Air A/C system in my 69 RR, I was reminded how hideous the heater control valve looks with its less than retro design and wires hanging out. Has anyone managed to install one of these hidden or found a clever way to cover them in the engine bay so they don't stick out? It looks so out of place just hanging in the middle of the heater hose. I have spent a lot of effort keeping the engine bay uncluttered and this just sucks your eyes to it like a Walmart spandex photo. The electronic dash controls require this valve so it can't be swapped out. The unit mounts the heater lines through the firewall so it can't be moved inside even it that could work.

are you using your original under dash unit?
I used theirs and it is only piping through the firewall and needed hose line inside the cabin so I installed the valve there.

Also my motor in that controler failed after about 2 years. it doesn't have enough torque to turn the valve anymore.
I thought the valve was sticky and it turned out to be a common valve with a part chopped off, but after replacing it, it still wouldn't move.
haven't been able to figure out a better motor yet.

I have an older CAA kit installed in one of my cars with the cable activated valve. It tucks by the dryer so it's not so noticeable.
I'm about to plunk down for a kit for another car and I was wondering what to do as well with this bulky looking valve.
I'm curious for suggestions also.

Having seen very nicely done cars where the AC/heater hoses are very well concealed by routing them under inner fender panels and thence into passenger compartment,,,,is this an option for your car.

I have seen some where almost everything is so well concealed,,including compressor,,,,that upon first look, you would not even note that the car has an AC system,,,except for condenser in front of radiator.

Yea, that control is really fugly.

I'm in Florida too, disconnected the hoses for the heater long time ago, nothing cleaner than eliminating it altogether.

I did a hybrid, factory under-hood, heater car conversion unit inside. So all the under-hood parts are factory looking and run down the passenger fender-well like the originals. That includes lines, dryer, and front core. The inside unit is using an original A/C dash and vents, with Classic ducts and adapters. The Controller unit is now electronic and looks totally cool and almost factory and replaces the factory piece above the radio. The system sold me just on that part alone. It is plug and play so you have to use their valve. My compressor is a high mount 2006 late model factory unit that looks like the Sandin and we are putting factory type rubber soft lines connecting it to the metal lines. I will likely try to convert some sort of plastic curved cover over it as a last resort. Like a trimmed vacuum pod or some other late model plastic cover. I am hoping someone had more imagination than I do and brags about some clever ass part they made.
