Fuse block

Fuse block - 06/05/17 10:19 PM

I need a new fuse block for my 68 Dart. I have the original factory harness in it and the fuse prongs are rusty. Does any one make a replacement block with fuse holders or a replacement block with the new spade style fuses. What have you guys used? This is for a pro-street car, so originality does not matter.

I used a $9.95 HF dremel to clean the inside edges of the blades that contact the fuse(s). that thing has very little torque & is perfect for that. On the other end if the rivets/wires are corroded a person could drill them out.

Never thought of that. Have to get my dremel out and find a wire brush end for it. That will save lots of work. Sometimes I think too big. Thanks!

I do not know if this will help but this is the closest I have found to the terminals for the OEM fuse blocks.

Not cheap but maybe somebody else has a source that is better.

That being said if it isn't OEM restoration then I would get a modern style ATOF fuse style block. Easier to find fuses when you need them on the side of the road.
