FI stroker small block died - I think fuel issue - 05/30/17 07:01 PM

Stroked small block with recent install of FItech system and been running good. Ran it a couple of days ago for a solid 20 minutes with temps in 80's with no problem. Yesterday went to store, temps in 80's again, ten minute drive each way, was in store 10 minutes. Half way home, car stumbled for half second and died. I rolled off road and tried quick restart but wouldn't. I decided to pop hood, let everything cool for 20 minutes and just see if whatever was causing issue would be ok after cooling (fuel or spark components). First try after thirty no minutes no start. So I looked at "Command Center" and it showed zero pressure on gauge. Waited longer. Turned key on, looked at gauge and pressure showing. It started. Made it about a mile and kaput again. I was not too far from home so got car home after two more stalls and waiting. I did notice after it stalled and wouldn't immediately restart it showed pressure on gauge. I'm guessing that was "residual" pressure, but not enough to start car? My pump is externally mounted. Despite that it ran fine two days before, do you think I'm going to have to do a tank mounted pump to solve this? And I just dished out $500 for a Rev n ator and was all excited about installing. Guess that'll have to wait. Thanks for any advice on this.

Hey Mark, thanks bud. Sounds like maybe this is my issue. I'll have to hook my programmer backup and see if I can resolve it this way first.

Thanks again!
