1971 and 1972 Two Speed B-Body Wiper Switch Wiring Diagrams

Hi,

I'm trying to determine the difference in wiring between a 1971 B-body two speed wiper switch and a 1972 B-body two speed wiper switch. If anyone has the 1971 wiring diagram, could you please respond with a scan or picture?

I know the two speed switch is different between the two years, but need to know if the wiring to the bulkhead is the same. I don't know if the wiring from the bulkhead to the wiper is the same.

Wiring is the same, just the switch changes, due the diff switch between 71 and 72/74 so then the prongs and plugs disposition

Those diagrams are wrong.

Here the differences, side by side

Left is 71, right is 72/74

Since 71 is blurry I overwritte the colors at a side of wire code

71s got two plugs, 72/74 got one piece larger plug.

switch can be indexed diff on diagrams but differences are noticeable

71 switch is also larger diameter than laters.

this section is the ONLY difference betyween 71 and 72/74. Bulkhead disposition is exactly the same, same as wiper harness.

applies the same to 3/var speeds.
