Cuda hood emblem - 05/17/17 10:56 PM

Would a 71 cuda with a build date 9/70 have a "plymouth" emblem on the front drivers side corner of hood or would it not be installed till later?

Thanks

I believe he is asking since a lot of parts were not used up for the 1970 build and were being used up at the start of the 1971 build, did all rally hoods put on at the start of the 1971 production have the emblem or were even 1970 hoods with or without the emblem. Lots of parts on early 1971 had 1970 parts. Right inner fenders, rear wings, Shaker hoods, 70 rads, the list is much bigger. I have a 1971 Cuda with a Rally Hood SPD of Nov.5th and is has the emblem and is a crush zone 1971 hood. Never looked into the hoods to see if they had the emblem before this date of Nov.

My original hood doesn't have provisions underneath for the 3 holes. Did they use the stick on emblem instead of 3 pin in this case?? Or no emblem at all?

the early '71 'cudas had holes drilled & speed-nuts without the recesses pre-stamped in the under hood structure
