Power Steering Box interchange

My buddy has a 70 RR with manual steering. He wants to convert to power steering. I have a power steering box out of a 72 318 Charger I parted out. Will that work in his RR?

The box will work fine. You'll probably need to change the pitman arm.

Remember that your buddy will need to change the shaft in his steering column as his old one is too long. You can change the length of you can salvage the nylon pins in it

Steering box will interchange, 73 was the first year for large sector steering box so you might be all set.

The coupler on the steering shaft is different between power and manual.
