What is this trim piece? B body 1969

Can anyone help what this piece is? It is 19" long

A piece that size should be obvious. Throw it away.

Kind of resembles the metal upper door panel but at 19" and the fact that it appears to be perfectly rectangular, it would probably have to be for the rear door of a four door car. Just a guess.

Those metal upper door panels are part of the inner door frame, not separate pieces. Throw it away.

I don't recognize that piece from any 69 B-body, 2 or 4 door I have worked on.

Yup. Throw it out.

Goes between headliner and glass.

Prove it! Show us a picture of that 19" long piece installed "anywhere" in a '69 b-body.
