2002 Dodge 2500 truck paint

I have a 2002 Dodge 2500 truck with the chrome bumper, I will be changing the front bumper and I noticed the inside of the bumper is painted with some type of light grey paint anyone know what type of paint this is?

I'd take a guess and say primer...maybe epoxy if it's OEM. But that's just a guess.

I believe it is some type of hard primer since there are no chips in it and there is no surface rust. The Mopar replacement bumper dose not have this coating on it. I used a product one time on an older truck called Weld Thru and it looked about the same. I think weld thru has a lot of zinc in it. Maybe this is what I will end up using. I'll try and post a photo.

I'd use epoxy myself.
