Need Help Identifying an 8 Track

I have a thumbwheel am 8 track with the pn2384544. Does anyone out there know what this might be out of?

oops, nevermind. After a closer look, the pn is 2884544. It turns out that the unit is out of '70 Imperial.

After a little more research, I found out that this is a Philips Mark 1. I also have an E Body unit and it is a Philips Mark 1, as well. Outside of the boxes and faceplate differences, I am wondering if they are the same units, internally.

I am trying to come up with a rebuildable core, for my e body. The e body player I currently have, is non salvageable, but I think the other one is. I would like to swap the internals into the ebody box.
