Hughes roller LA lifters and setting preload? - 12/23/16 05:31 AM

How do you adjust preload if you planned on running stock mopar rockers? Reading their webesite they sell these as "easy deal" retrofit. They go in to how to set the preload. How does one set preload with factory LA rockers? I'm not doing anything wild with cam or springs... just want to go roller.

Factory LA non adjustable rockers?...setting the preload...you dont ...

you need adjustable rockers and new pushrods....OR adjustable pushrods with non adjustable rockers...

Something has to be adjustable...and what you have with stock is non adjustable..

You need nothing adjustable other than a checking pushrod. Once you determine the length of pushrod you need with the checking one you buy a set that length, or have them made.

I thought their directions were pretty specific on preload. I planned on using all stock stuff since it was a mild build.

Hughes does want a certain preload amount and they do list it. A pushrod length checked should be an easy do. You may not need new Pushrods.
