need a new Charger

Well looks like the wifes 97 intrepid went [Edited by Moparts - Keep it clean] up. Im lookin at a new charger for her. Whats the feedback on the 2.7 or 3.5. The last 3.5 in 97 with over 200K ran well but the I dont know if the 2.7 is a dog or worth the econmey at up to 31 mpg. what do you guys think.

I rented a Charger with the small motor and it was not bad for the size, considering I drive a Charger R/T with a 5.7, I was impressed (but not )

Wow ive never had that happen before. Maybe I should rent one for a weekend ad see what I think. The S2.99 a gallon is good for 575 gallons a year. I dont know how they would know what octaine I use . but if they cant tell I would use it for my diesel any other feedback?
