On the tube K frame, what are the objectives? Header and pan clearance for a drag car or better handling?

On the rockers, I would wonder about things like pin retention after changing rollers. Would they hold? Are the rockers already fatigued? Maybe some have had good luck changing rollers but I wouldn't want to try it personally.

yes it is for a drag car.oil pan and external oil line clearance is one objective but mostly weight.that k frame weighs a ton.
as far as the rockers they are new never mounted spares on shafts that were left in a storage container that some how was left open and got water in it rusting some of the rollers.

How many Indy rockers do you need? I bought a used -1 top end kit and never used the rockers. I believe 12 of the 16 are good. I would have to look again.

thanks guys. Iam trying to find the roller bearing in the end of the rocker that contacts the valve, thought it would be an easy swap and available with the pin/shaft it rides on. does that pin/shaft press out or screw in? anyone know who actually makes these rockers for indy?if so I would contact them and have them do it. the rockers and shafts are new just rusty rollers.
guess the tube K frame is like hens teeth. had a suggestion for a fox body mustang k frame and pinto. pinto is too narrow, have one here. anyone know of something in a kit form I can weld up? thanks for your help.

iagree scope
More than likely there is a axle and shaft, no needle bearings in the roller tip or on the shafts scope Those are extruded aluminum rockers with no caged needle bearing in the main body, correct? If so step up now and buy either a set of Harland Sharp roller rocker arm kit with 1.6 ratio or a set of the T&D single shaft 1.6 ratio rockers for your heads twocents up
