Who repairs tachometers?

I have a Mopar tachometer from the early 1990s (Made by Autometer). The circuit board fried because there was an electrical short in my car. I sent it in for repairs, however they refuse to repair it because it is licensed Mopar. They said the circuit board needs replaced. Does anyone repair tachs here? The rest of my gauges match this gauge hence why I want to keep it.

Take a look at my post on here about speedometer repair shops in Oregon and WA Several members showed two shops that specialize in all car instrument repairs, I think Tacoma Speedometer repair fixes a lot of different after market add on brand car gauges

So Autometer won't fix it because it's licensed? That makes zero sense.

If you asked them to make you a tach with a Mopar logo with no license well that's different.

So assuming there is a legitimate reason they can't fix it for you and you didn't just get some moron on the phone, will they sell you the parts to fix it?

Kevin, I got the same line of crap from them a long while back. "It's a licensed product, we can't touch the MoPar part."

jerry is good, does quality work, he can update to better electronics.
