Spare tire cover

Isnt there supposed to be a cover over the spare and under the trunk mat?? What is it called?
For my 67 Coronet... Anyone have some pics??

Pretty sure all B bodies got then was a trunk mat. New Yorkers would get tire covers, carpet and cardboard side panels, optional on lesser Chryslers and probably most C bodies.

There is a cove on 66-67 b-bodies. It is a Masonite board like that is natural,finish,unpainted. It can be ruined with water on it in a leaky trunk. I can photo one tomorrow. There were reproductions made at some point.

Interesting! I found a reproduction listed at Jim's, must be available from someone reputable.

If Jim's chart is correct the cover was discontinued for 1968.

Yes in 68 the tire sat on top of the trunk floor, not in a spare tire well.

A-bodies had the board over the spare also.

TY, that's it... I would like to cut one out of 1/4" plywood or Masonite, but I do not have my original..
