do i need to get longer oil pan bolts and not use the factory bolts?i have no bolts at all right now. thanks

With the 2nd gasket & tray, bolts may need to be 3/16" longer than if you just stuck the pan on. Proper bolts have captive washers, by memory the threads were maybe 1/2" - 3/4" long. I think there's a breakdown in the Archives somewhere with tightening torques.

Get a stud kit from 440 source. I used SCE gaskets and was super impressed with them.

Reproduction oil pan bolt set for big block Mopar worked perfect for me , including both the factory rear main seal retainer and Mancini Billet rear main seal Retainer when I screwed them in by hand , making sure they where not to long for each retainer and not bottoming out

Anyways

Plenty long for the two gaskets and factory windage tray plus the 402 oil pan
