lingenfelter aluminum bumper brackets - 09/19/16 01:30 AM

I know they are for Fiberglass bumpers, but does anyone have any experience using them on metal bumpers? notably on '69 RR's

Thanks

I have them on my Barracuda......

They are made out of a very light gauge material and don't know if I'd trust them to a heavier bumper. I need to fab up a pair of bumper end support straps to keep it stable, it wobbles side to side real easy. Don't quote me but I seem to think they are .090"(?) thick.

No complaints from me, they are nice and I'm glad I bought them for my application that don't see a whole lot of street duty..... track duty has been non existent frown

pretty much filling a niche for the glass bumper people.

...unless you got him to fab up a special set using a much thicker material, but to my knowledge, he doesn't do that.

....My front A body bracket. Has tested good to 140 so far.

Hazard & J_body, THANK YOU! for the feedback, it may be worth a shot to see if he could make a set using thicker material, I'll get back to the site once I get an answer.
