With E-heads and the stock exhaust manifolds, what gaskets do you all recommend (if any)? This is on a 1970 Duster with a 340.

Thanks in advance!😁

the regular felpro ones that are sort of silvery on one side are OK but check for overhang/trim as needed OR no gasket & a thin coat of "the right stuff" gasket maker

No gasket on mine.

Wouldn't there be a problem with differing metals being together, or is that just with cylinder heads?

I use a little bit of high temp RTV on mine (Ed heads, thick flange headers) and would do the same with manifolds. No gasket to blow out. It has been through some hard running and one freshen and no issue since I got rid of the gaskets early on.

You probably have this covered but I'll mention its a good idea to get the manifolds skim cut for a flat smooth sealing surface.

no problem, Ma did em dry (on BB at least) but that was with flat surfaces to start with. A light amt of gasket maker works fine/cheap/easy

I was concerned about dissimilar metals being in contact without a gasket between them.
