74 Duster with the 318 with power steering.I have look at a 86 Dodge Ram with the 360 4bb,my question will my pullys off my 318 bolt on and line up.For some reason i think the 360 balancer is thicker than the 318 .Any thoughts.

mancini & 440 source has crank shims & speedway mtrs & others have pump shims. spacing the alt is easy. the pump "cross" can move in or out a slight bit. use a piece of tubing or a laser pointer in a pulley groove to confirm dead on alignment if in doubt or in a high RPM app

The problems arise when you try to mix and match the pulleys. If you use a matched set, things are fine since the attachment points are the same.
The factory had a dizzying array of combinations though. P/S or not, A/C or not, Police alternator or not, Smog pump or not...

Ok, thanks all,my last build was a 360 in my 69 Dart,witch is gone now.And I am using the pulleys off the 318 Duster,there a matching set.
