73 k frame with 67 splash shields?

I have a 67 dart that has the original splash shields by the k frame that mount on the frame rail. I am changing to a 73 k frame. Do I have to remove the shields and replace them with 73 style shields or will the old ones fit with the new k? Thanks.

I think the 73 ones were plastic. Are your`s metal?

Yes, my splash shields are plastic. Looks like they are riveted in. Good news that they fit. I didn't want to have to change them. Thanks for info Rhinodart!
