E Body Ralley Dash Wiring

Just wondering, would 72-74 ralley dash wiring work correctly in a '71 dash ? Have a very nice harness that I think is for a '74 but doing a '71 dash.

The only differences I can think of would be the wiper motor switch ('70 was varible and later years had a three speed) and the seat belt warning light. I'm not sure when either were brought into play.

You can always splice what you need...

The '74 also had a seatbelt interlock system, and other starter disable wires that went out under the hood. I have the wiring schematics @ home and will let you know the major differences later if no one else chimes in.

I need a good 72 up ralley harness and am too cheap to pay the $250-300 for a new one. if you wind up not needing yours, PM me even if it needs some "work"
