2010 charger police package. Hemi - 04/09/16 02:00 AM

Couple weeks ago I bought this car. Seems to be well taken care of. The guy gave me the door linkage rods and got them installed. Figured out rear door windows. There are a couple things I need help with. One: car has fog lights but can't seem to find a switch. Owners manual says u just have to push in headlight button but mine doesn't push. Second: horn doesn't work but has mechanism in the wheel. Third: lights don't work on the heat\air control. Fourth: speedometer is off. Took it to dealer and they tried to reset it but its still off. About 10mph fast on highway. Tech said he has never ran into this. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks Eric

That's the Police "Revenue Enhancement" option that is standard for every cop car in all 50 States, no getting around that

The fog lights and horn may have been disabled when the car was de-commissioned by the police department that owned it. Look for cut wires and unplugged connectors. I don't know if they're still wired this way, but older police cars had a 'horn/siren' switch so that the horn button worked either one depending on switch position.

I would think they would want cop cars to be certified. This is crazy. Guess I will just use my GPS for speedometer.

Any idea where to start? There are quite abit of cut wires thinking maybe around center console area.

Thought of another thing I wanted to ask. Really don't like the shifter on the column. Can I get a floor shifter and cable out of the junk yard? Most worried if wiring would match up for the auto stick.

For the foglights you need the headlight switch that pushes in. There are ones that don't. Hopefully replace it and good to go.
For the lights on the heater control you need to get a new panel. Light aren't replaceable. Went through that last year.
