My MP Orange Box ECU bit the dust but luckily right by the house on a quiet street as I was coming back from a short cruise.

Slapped on the old trusty spare Wells unit and she fired right up.

The black material on the MP box is soft and spongy. I think she was getting hot don't you?

Now I gotta throw on my spare TQ when time permits as I noticed a bad gas leak on the primary shaft passenger side. Old cars what fun!

Might be float level or leaky jet wells?

Yep tore it apart and the passenger jet well is leaking bad. The epoxy on them is original I'll go ahead and fix that problem as it's a good running TQ otherwise.

Rug,
What epoxy do you like to use? Some of the clear two part epoxies don't like gas I believe. I have a gray colored two part machineable epoxy that I think works better.

I have used JB Weld or JB Quick.

Clean with alcohol and apply carefully with a tooth pick. If you get too much on the outside it won't fit into the carb base.

Machinable epoxy? What is that? Sounds like a neat thing.

I scraped the old stuff off with a carpet knife (go figure!)
