Proportioning Valve Mount - 03/01/16 03:49 AM
Looking to see where you've all mounted your "prop valves"? I have a 68 Dart that I'm converting to discs. Also, do I need to use the stock distribution block as well? Pictures are appreciated.

I mounted mine on a plate (bolted to the master mounting bolts) right under the master cylinder and used 6" long hard lines between the master and the valve. Its pretty easy to get at to adjust with it there. Sorry, no pictures. Gene

The disc prop valve replaces the drum one and is mounted to the lower DS frame rail. Is yours factory or aftermarket? If you are using the 73-6 style prop and disc brakes you may have to change the line that passes across the firewall. I just bought a kit from finelines for a 73-6 duster with disc brakes. If your doing the same thing just get the kit for a 73-6 Dart with disc brakes.

Thanks! I'm using Inline Tube's adjustable proportion valve. Do I need to use the stock distribution block as well?
