P833 2448 0176, case has C97622 E 4, tails shaft is C-967078 and bearing retainer is 94796. It's 23 spline and I think it's the smaller output shaft. Can anyone help with this?

2448 = Wednesday, April 10, 1968 assembly date

no VIN stamping? is that A or B-body tailshaft?

B body tail shaft, the pad is a little hard to read, looks like 8A275108.

sounds like the 4-speed from a mid-April '68 Lynch Rd. Detroit, MI built 383 Road Runner (or other 383 4bbl Plymouth b-body)

No such thing as a smaller output shaft on a non OD 833 ... they were all 30 spline, like the 727's , on B bodies.

The casting numbers on the main case won't tell you anything , same casting used on both 23 spline and 18 spline ....

Sorry my error, it is 30 spline output, meant bearing retainer, this one is 4.3 OD.
