Best 72- up duster one piece headliner? - 11/27/15 11:11 PM

I need to replace the one piece cardboard headliner in my 72 duster and I am wondering what the best option is for the factory headliner?
Maybe what vender sales the best fitting best appearance headliner? I have also thought about going with a 71 down style but would rather have the correct style in it. Just wondering if someone might have any input.
Thanks in advance, Matt

Try Dantes. I think he is having a Black Friday sale his weekend.

I don`t think anybody sells the cardboard ones. Only the ABS plastic ones that I know of.

my one buddy just had a 72 duster finished for his wife. it originally had a cardboard liner, but he had a local upholstery shop do a 5 bow liner in factory material and it turned out great ! wasn't any more money than a kit from the leading vendors. you may want to look into that option.

Not sure how original you're looking to keep things, but I recovered my ratty looking one with black felt. Of course if your current one is broken, this is probably no help

Super cheap and easy. Quite a few colors to choose from. Spray adhesive worked perfect.

Good luck, and let us know what your solution was.

Thanks for the replies. The factory cardboard liner is missing from my car. I have another 72 duster and it still has the cardboard headliner but it is already starting to sag so I don't know if it can be reused or not if it was recovered. Have also given thought of putting a fabric headliner in like the 71 and down cars have. Guess I will just have to decide what will work best.
Thanks again, Matt
